My interest in design and photojournalism began early, while in high school when I created a collage to represent a destination. I entered into the visual communication program in college and my graphic design and marketing career was started. During an editorial design class, I realized the significance of storytelling when using words and images to convey ideas. From that point, my focus was to develop my expertise in storytelling through type and image.

How I differ from others who have similar skillsets:
• My own experience in living within the cultural diversity of Central America and the U.S. offers exceptional insights
• My affinity for people and communicating enables me to converse without hesitation to build stories and impressions.
• I see things in terms of colors and compositions. I see the patterns that lie behind the challenges and can make connections to develop solutions.
